Here in the Honors Abroad program, our current focus is on short term travel in Iceland and our long term goal is to expand the program to other countries in the North Atlantic.

Minimum Scholarship Qualifications:

USM Honors Freshmen (less than 36 credits by end of Spring ’18 semester), student has declared the Honors Minor, carries a 3.5 GPA or higher, and has completed (or is on track to complete) two HON designated courses of their choosing.

Students who meet these minimum qualification are invited to submit an application for consideration. Application details and materials will be posted in early January ’18 and successful applicants will be notified by the end of March ’18.
